About Us

This website is brought to you from various entities; Iowa State Extension, Northeast Iowa Food & Fitness, Winneshiek County Public Health & Iowa Department of Public Health.  The Winneshiek County Board of Health received a grant from Iowa Department of Public Health to aid in promoting healthy behaviors and activities.  Several mini activities were written that can be done at home, school, daycare or a combination of these locations.  For the most part these activities are simple, inexpensive and easy to perform.  They are designed to promote physical activities and healthy eating habits in children.
