Poor Nutrition and decreasing amounts of physical activity have become a huge concern in all ages. The Red Light, Green Light, Eat Right project is geared at promoting improved nutrition and increased amounts of physical activity. The aim is in messaging, statements used by individuals to increase awareness of good nutrition and people being active and moving.
Another important piece to this puzzle is role modeling. This means that persons involved "practice what they preach." We need all persons involved to relay messages and keep a rough estimate as to how frequently they are used at home, school and daycare.
Our ultimate goal is to have families spend time together and increase their awareness of nutrition and exercise. We hope that you find these activities easy to do and enjoyable. We value your opinion and look forward working with you.
